Severgroup acquires HR-tech platform Potok

ZAO Severgroup, a private investment group that makes long-term investments on behalf of Alexey Mordashov, announces the acquisition of 100% of recruitment optimisation platform from the project founders, Kirill Nikolayev and Pavel Dubrovsky, and early stage financial investors (private individuals and investment company United Business Angels).
The Russian market for recruitment optimization systems, or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), is early-stage and promising. We expect to see an increasing role for these integrated systems in developing the HR-technology market. The modern, multifunctional solution offered by Potok rivals world leaders in this market and we have already tested this tool at major Severgroup companies, including Severstal, Nordgold and Sveza. We believe that Potok has the potential to become the largest player in the Russian ATS market.

The combined experience of employees within Severgroup will contribute significantly to the further development of the project. This is Severgroup’s second investment in the HR-tech sector and we intend to continue to increase our presence in this market.

The Potok platform is designed to optimize the processes associated with recruitment: holding the resumé database, managing all stages of the selection process, [facilitating the decision making process between colleagues] and communicating with candidates. The system makes it possible to attract talent via different sources including work sites and social networks.

Additional tools enable companies to incorporate their branding within the HR product, creating branded response forms as well as a company career sites. Another advantage of the Potok system is that it can be tailored for each company and user, including a well-designed role system and the ability to integrate with mail services.

Analytical reports stored in the system enable company employees involved in the selection process to monitor performance on a regular basis and make decisions based on data, and routine tasks can be automated via the system.

The platform was launched at the end of 2016. 600 applications have already been processed during the first few months. Today, the platform is already used by more than 50 companies, including large international clients from the banking sector (Home Credit Bank, Otkritie Bank), and IT (OneTwoTrip, Esforce) and retail (TSUM) sectors.
